Vmware Vsphere 5.5
VMware vSphere 5.5 is available exclusively on the vSphere ESXi hypervisor architecture. ESXi is the latest hypervisor architecture from VMware and, as of the vSphere 4.1 release, VMware’s recommended best practice when deploying VMware vSphere. Users can upgrade to ESXi (from ESX) as part of an upgrade to vSphere 5.5. In this quick and simple tutorial I will guide you through the installation and configuration of VMware ESXi 5.5 Subscribe & never miss a Video - https://bit.ly. Hi,
I have downloaded and installed vSphere ESXi 5.5 and it informs me I have 60 days to register .. so I, of course, have tried to do so. I have searched all over the place, found instructions that don't make any sense and what appears to be a place to register (VMWare: Product Registration) and I can find no way to do it.

If I put in the only license key I can find associated with my product I get the following error message:
Unsuccessful Registration
The following key(s) cannot be registered.
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX The License key is already registered.
I am honestly baffled.
Have I downloaded the wrong VMWare, if I access the version info (Help à About VMware vSphere) I can see that it is:
Vmware Vsphere 5.5 Extended Support
- vSphere Client version 5.5.0 build 1281650 and ..
- VMware ESXi Version 5.5.0 build 1331820
Transition presets free download. As far as I can tell that means I haven't downloaded the wrong one.
But how do I register it? Preferably some easy list of instructions.
