[Casio G-shock] Question: How do I adjust the analog hands on my watch. Yes I did youtube, no It didn't work.
This simple question is this, is my watch broken in some way?
I have this nice watch my dad got me when I was much younger. I was never into watches but recently I picked it up and am going to give it a try.
The time is currently 9:07, which is what my watch's digital is set to, but the analog hands are set to 9:27.
Youtube videos I saw showed that I take these steps to fix this issue:
Hold the Forward button until a beep
Move the hands to 12:00 OR they will auto move and just let them stop.
Essentially, I can't even reach these steps..I hold forward on my watch and the only thing that happens is my 9:07 digital time changes to WED for Wednesday. If I hit it again it says 10-22, again back to the digital time.
Yes I know you are supposed to press and hold the button, Even doing so it changes to WED,
anyone mind helping me out? I'd love to give it a try but having 2 different times on a watch is pretty counterproductive I think.

The first thing a Casio user needs to know is what the different buttons on the watch do. Each button can change a different setting. The Adjust button is on the top left. The Mode button is on the bottom left; press it to change from one mode to another. The Search button is on the bottom right. Time
The Casio Timekeeping Mode’s Multi-Time feature allows for quick access to the current time in the individual’s home city and in three other local cities as well as the current date. To view the different time screens on a Casio digital watch, press Search.
To change the time and date for the home city time only, hold 'Adjust' until the seconds flash. While in the setting screen, press Mode to move through the seconds, Daylight Saving Time, city code, hour, minutes, 12-hour or 24-hour format, year, month, and day. 'Mode' also adjusts the illumination duration setting, which refers to how long the light stays backlit after a button is pressed. To make the watch stay lighter for longer, the illumination duration should also be longer.
A 12-hour clock is typically used in the United States and means that half of the day will be explained as 'AM' and the afternoon will switch to 'PM.' A 24-hour clock, sometimes called 'army time,' moves from 0:00 (midnight) to 23:99 (11:59pm). The 24-hour clock is often followed in Europe. To change the hour, minutes, year, month, or day, use the 'Search' button to add and the 'Light' button to subtract. When changing the three-letter city codes, use the 'Search' button to move east and the 'Light' button to move west. Pressing 'Search' changes a number of functions on the watch. 'Search' resets the seconds, turns Daylight Savings Time (DST) on and off, switches from a 12-hour to a 24-hour time period, and sets a 1.5- or 3-second illumination.
The Casio watch has the ability to display three local times on the screen. To change the city setting for one of the three local times, first check the City Code Table manual for the city abbreviations. Once the desired city is displayed, hold 'Adjust' for approximately two seconds, until the display on the watch starts to flash. Use the 'east' and 'west' buttons to navigate the cities and press 'Mode' to display the DST setting, which can be turned on and off.
World Time
The Casio watch is a favorite because it was one of the first watches to show world time.
